A surprise call-up when the Mets needed an emergency reliever for one game in 2000, but developed into a real prospect by the following season, before being sent to Cleveland in the Roberto Alomar deal. Pictured is his card from the 1996 Hawaii Winter Ball Hilo Stars set.
